Hidden Road Expands Prime Brokerage Services with OTC Digital Asset Options

Hidden Road has unveiled support for over-the-counter (OTC) options on digital assets, marking a significant expansion of its prime brokerage capabilities. The MOVE allows institutional clients to execute OTC options trades while cross-margining these positions with their broader digital asset portfolios.

The firm has partnered with liquidity providers QCP and BlockTech to facilitate institutional access to structured products and derivatives from launch. "Options trading in digital assets has historically been constrained by bilateral credit requirements and lack of cross-margining," said Michael Higgins of Hidden Road. "We're breaking down those barriers."

Darius Sit of QCP noted growing institutional demand for sophisticated risk management tools, calling cross-margining capabilities "a game-changer" for the evolving digital assets market.
